The Ellipse dummy knob set contains no latch or locking function and is typically used on inactive doors. The Ellipse knob is also available in the entry (locks/unlocks with a key on the outside and a push-button on the inside), privacy (locks/unlocks with a push-button on the interior and can be unlocked from the exterior with the emergency release) passage (features a passage latch but contains no locking function) and half dummy (one sided with no latch or locking function) functions. These items are listed separately.
