From the Baldwin Reserve Traditional collection, the Westcliff double cylinder handleset is made from solid brass and available in an array of popular finishes. Baldwin offers a high degree of customization, allowing you to create hardware uniquely suited to your home. We would be happy to assist with customization beyond what is offered here. Split finish and split style sets are also available. Give us a call to design your custom set.

About this product:

Double Cylinder Handleset GraphicThe Westcliff double cylinder handleset features a non-locking latch and a locking deadbolt. The latch is retracted by a thumb piece on the outside or a knob/lever on the inside. The deadbolt is locked/unlocked by a key on the outside and a key on the inside. The Westcliff handleset is also available in the single cylinder (locks/unlocks with key on exterior and thumb turn on interior) and dummy (used on the fixed door on a set of double doors) functions. These items are listed separately.

  • Edge bore: 1"
  • 5-1/2" center-to-center (c-to-c) tubular bore
  • Door Thickness: 1-3/8" to 2-1/2"
  • Please note: For the double cylinder function, customers will need to replace a torque blade if the application is on a 2" thick door
  • Cylinder: 5-pin C-Keyway. SmartKey Re-key Technology with KW1 keyway optional
  • Keyed Different (KD) orders will receive one set of 2 keys cut the same. Keyed Alike (KA) orders will receive one set of 4 keys cut the same
  • Backset: Adjustable to 2-3/8" (60mm) or 2-3/4" (70mm)
  • Latch: 6 Way adjustable (6L), includes square and radius faceplates. 20-minute certified UL option available
  • Deadbolt features 1" throw Brass bolt latch. Grip offers 1/2" passage/privacy function bolt
  • Strike: Dual strike (DS) includes both square and radius corner. Extended Lip strike shipped with all thick door locks (ES) (for doors 2" to 2-1/2" thick)
  • Tested to exceed ANSI/BHMA Grade 2 security

Keying information: If you want to order a set that will work with your existing key, it is important to order the same type of key cylinder, because the keys are not interchangeable. For example, a Schlage C key cannot fit into a Weiser WR5 key cylinder. In addition to matching the key cylinder type, you must also match the key code. If you need assistance in determining your key cylinder type or your key code please take your key to a locksmith or key copy center.

We also offer the option of ordering sets that are “keyed alike” or “keyed different”. “Keyed alike” means that all sets ordered together will operate with the same key. “Keyed different” means that each set ordered together will operate with its own unique key. If you are ordering multiple keyed products, such as two of the same product with different options or two different products, please include a note with any keying instructions on the Shopping Cart page.
