Deltana's DSF600 6" Heavy Duty Door Bumper is solid brass and is easy to install.  This is a extra tall door stop for out swinging doors with a step down. Normally used on commercial and residential exterior doors including patio doors. It includes new fasteners for wood or concrete installation.

This tall door stop is mounted to the floor, allowing the bottom of the door to contact it. If using near a wall, you want to mount this in a position so that the bumper makes contact before the door knob touches the wall. Thus protecting not just the door, but the knob or lever as well.
