The 2000 privacy pocket lock features a thumb turn and pocket lock mortise mechanism. The mechanism latch is locked/unlocked by a thumb turn on the interior and can be unlocked from the exterior with the emergency egress. The 2000 pocket lock is also available in the passage/dummy (contains no latch or locking function and is typically used on inactive or hallway closet doors) function.
