About this product:

FPL Brentwood Slider & 558 Specs

The Brentwood patio sliding door lock features a European half cylinder, thumbturn, and the 558-50 mortise mechanism. The mechanism is retracted by a thumbturn on the inside. The Brentwood style is also available in the keyed (locks/unlocks with a key on the outside and a thumbturn on the inside) and dummy (used on the inactive door when two sliding doors meet in the middle) functions. These items are listed separately.

  • Screw hole spacing: 7-13/16" center-to-center (c-t-c)
  • Door thickness: 1-3/4" to 2-1/4"
  • Plate width: 1-7/8"

  • Backset: 50mm
  • To open, press down on lever to disengage mechanism from strike, then use lever as a pull to slide your door open
  • To close, with the sliding door closed, locking the profile cylinder secures the door by keeping the lever from operating
