The Embassy dummy slider does not have a locking mechanism and is typically used on the inactive door of a double sliding door. The Embassy style is also available in the keyed (locks/unlocks with a key on the outside and a thumb latch on the inside), and patio (locks/unlocks with thumbturn on interior only) functions.
